ISLAND OF EIGG, SCOTLAND - 31st OCTOBER 2007: Catriona Millar, 4, and her sister Breagha, two and a half, and outside their house.
Their parents Stuart and Kathleen Miller say, " It is amazing the buzz the electricity scheme has brought the island. We will have 5kw of power 24 hours a day.
"We will no longer have to switch the generators on manually as our auto system does not always work. The generators are also expensive to run - we go through 5 tons of diesel a year between the fishing boat and the generators - that's £300 a year just for the fuel freight."
